on tiktok, twitter and google bard
i feel like i have been tricked whenever i use tiktok. it essentially feels like scrolling through a sea of subpar content looking for one video that is slightly better than the rest. the videos are short enough where it feels like a short term engagement but over time the volume becomes long term. it's easier to look at it than do anything else as well. so why not keep staring?
well! i have committed to deleting it until it comes time to promote Greener Grass Awaits. and i've uninstalled twitter as well. that for you page is addicting to me- you can never reach the top naturally since it keeps autoloading. and everything i read made me feel miserable. the replies to everything now are horrible since blue users are prioritized, and the type of person who signs up for that is usually someone who is loud and wrong. i also never tweeted much because what's the point.
i guess i'm feeling a little complain-y right now. as of writing this sentence, i have committed to one more rant:
google bard is pretty terrible right now. i only mess with the ai stuff a little out of curiosity, but it's surprising how wrong google bard is. it will lie to you. and then lie again when you catch it. and then pretend like it never lied to you. on a lark i asked if it knew about yatoimtop. it gave me some facts, one of which claims i was musically inspired by bjork, prince, and david bowie. which isn't true. so i asked where it got this info from, and it claimed it got it from an interview. i asked for the interview and then it said there was none.
fantastic!
