POST VIDEOPALOOZA MORE ROUNDUP!

After the two months of constant defeat, VIDEOPALOOZA MORE has finished. I like the videos. I did not like the mindset!

In the Blissful NOW, what lies ahead? 

The Answer- Music and Music Videos, and an Album. 

I will be releasing 3 tracks in anticipation for my new album, SPLIT WHOLE.

1. Top of the Trail (Live action video?)

2. I Wonder (Live action video)

3. Walking again (Maybe animated video)

I am excited to finally put out this album. It's hung over my head like some sort of imposing-above-head-hanging thing. I believe I've made like 25-30 songs, but the album will probably be 12 songs long. 

When I see artists who say they made 10000 songs for an album (e.g. 100 gecs and Caribou) I wonder what the quality of those outtakes are. If we're counting little musical scraps, I have made countless Crimes.

In efforts to find things to change, I've listened to my own songs an unbelievable amount of times. So much so it has cut into my normal music listening schedule. I am proud of these songs- I don't think they 100 percent line up with what I would want to make (whatever that would be), but I am happy with what I have. This is a moral I am trying to realize more often.

I think I might make a blog post about making videos for phones. It's interesting!

As far as I know, It's sometimes expected of artists to explain themselves using an artist statement. To write something that explains them, their process, their topics, their worldview etc. I always thought that was weird. "Here's me- in a paragraph!". blog post!

 it's been so long since i sat down and wrote a blogpost! it's currently 3:14 as i write this. i'm just going to write a bunch of short things here: unconfidence is generally looked down upon. than being said, i will now confidentially express my unconfidence. hopefully this paradox works in my favor. i've been thinking about my future for a while now. it's hard to see the future. tonight i opened elden ring a bit because the new dlc came out. i didn't get the new dlc. as i was playing it, i came up against a boss. it was at redmane castle i think. i realized that i was not having fun and i had no interest in trying to get better at the game. i've been working on a new game. i made multiple attempts at recording a development video for it but ultimately didn't get anything out of it. there's some sort of gap between the person i think i am and the person that i see on the recordings. it happens to my writings too- almost everything i write seems alie...
